Lincoln Financial will sponsor our opening
night which features the extraordinary Racing Daylight
starring David Straithairn and Melissa Leo, two of the most accomplished
actors working today. The ambitious script weaves together a ghost-story,
a murder mystery, and a love story as it focuses our imaginations
on possibilities. The theme of possibilities is echoed by the
financing of the film. According to Nicole Quinn, writer, producer
and director, “We financed it on good will, deferring most
crew and our actors [to] accept the SAG ultra-low budget contract,
credit cards, loans, and angels.”
Also screening Friday night is HellDrivers:
The Original Crast Test Dummies. HellDrivers is traveling
band of daredevils featuring New England’s own Doug Danger
and Crash Moreau; Monster Road, a documentary about clay
animator Bruce Bickford, Prometheus' Garden, an animated
film and, last but not least is Nerdcore Rising.
Alan Abel, the famous media prankster joins
the discussion after we present his The Faking of the President
on Saturday afternoon. Don’t miss Dean and Me, Silent
Monsoon, Talking Guitars, and the incredible documentary
Immokalee USA in the Lincoln Theater also on
Saturday. In the Stonyfield Theater, we have an International
Block featuring several films from Spain and the Netherlands.
Mr. Big from Canada has it’s own slot on Saturday
evening.
Saturday offers a full day of independent

said.
